How to start preparation for Civil Services exam

Is preperation of IAS enough for clearing PCS?

I see a lot of people on pcsexam.com forums who have not cleared has no pcsexam.com follower cleared the exam. If you have cleared please comment on this topic and leave back your name and roll no and contact so that the people who have cleared can get together and prepare. GS being very vast is always a difficult part of the syllabus to prepare. Besides this its a ongoing process, its not like you can prepare it in a month or so.
